WORKSHOP:
Art integration across the curriculum for inclusive teaching

Under the guise of "play", explore devised and applied performance practices for building community in the classroom and a student-centered equitable learning lab. This is a hands-on participatory workshop experience. You will move. You will be moved! The exercises intend to scaffold classroom learning, center empathy, and build trust. The techniques and practices are applicable to many learning topics and themes. Participants can use these tools when facilitating any type of group process for a transformative experience.

VIRTUAL TRAINING SESSIONS on creating transformative online spaces.

WORKSHOP:
The diversity of thought and managing difficult discussion

Everyone is welcome here. Conflict is an opportunity. Learn practical and implementable tools to facilitating difficult discussions in the classroom. Don’t just settle for learning what people believe, but why they believe it. Set the groundwork for principled disagreement, unearthing shared values, and the art of negotiation. Democracy takes courage. Let’s bring courage and democratic values into our space for a restorative classroom.

You’ll receive a Google-drive folder with learning tools and materials to sustain and support your work.

“This was the best PD I’ve had in twenty years.”
